Installation and First Launch
This page summarizes the basic steps from installing the app to reaching the Admin Console.
Steps
1. Install the app
- Install the target app from Shopify Admin.
- After installation, confirm that you can open the embedded admin screen under
app.
2. Check the first-launch state
- On the first launch, you may see a screen indicating that setup is in progress.
- Once setup is complete, you can proceed to the Overview screen.
3. Enter the Admin Console
- Confirm that you can see the navigation for Overview, Settings, Models, Usage, and Billing.
- If you cannot enter the screen, check the authentication state and installation state first.
What to verify after the first launch
- The store name is displayed correctly.
- Setup status and health information are available.
- Shortcuts to the next setup screens are displayed.
